Biography
Hosam Bakr Abdin (given birth to Oct 26, 1985) can be an Egyptian boxer who won a welterweight bronze in the 2007 All-Africa Video games and later on qualified for the 2008 Summer time Olympics.
Career
On the Arab Championships he lost to Tunisian Rached Merdassi but gained the PanArab Games afterwards that year. On the All-Africa Video games he was knocked out in the semifinal by Ghanaian Bastir Samir and gained bronze. He also participated on the 2007 Globe Championships. On the Olympic qualifier he defeated Choaib Oussaci of Algeria 16-6. In his initial Olympic match he defeated Non Boonjumnong of Thailand 11-10, in the one fourth final he dropped to Cuban Carlos Banteux.
