Graeme ‘Gubby’ Allan (given birth to 23 July 1954) is a previous Australian guidelines footballer who used Fitzroy and Collingwood in the Victorian Soccer League (VFL). Allan started his profession in the Victorian Soccer Association where he took the field for Sunlight, and he finished third in the J. J. Liston Trophy count number in 1974. He debuted at Fitzroy in 1975 and became an excellent utility player, frequently used being a centreman. He was also convenient around goals and kicked 25 of these in 1977 and another 26 in 1979. Collingwood obtained his providers in 1981 and he participated for the reason that year’s Grand Last, on the fifty percent back again flank. During his amount of time in the VFL he symbolized the group at interstate soccer. Since retiring simply because a new player, Allan has stayed involved in soccer simply because an administrator, at Collingwood, the Brisbane Lions and Greater American Sydney. His boy, Marcus, performed briefly at Brisbane, and today has for the Aged Xaverians in the VAFA, together with his youngest boy, Patrick “Pat” Allan.
