He also performed in Nippon Professional Football for the Yomiuri Giants.

Baseball career

Cepeda previously played for the Cuban country wide baseball group and Sancti Spíritus from the Cuban Country wide Series. Cepeda was area of the Cuban group that earned the yellow metal medal in the 2004 Summer season Olympics and second place in the 2006 Globe Baseball Basic and 2008 Summer season Olympics. He was chosen within the All Celebrities at this year's 2009 Globe Baseball Basic where he previously a .500 batting average with 3 homers in 6 games and 24 at-bats.Cepeda signed using the Yomiuri Giants of Nippon Professional Football on Apr 19, 2014.Cepeda won along with his country wide team, the silver medal from the 2014 Central American and Caribbean Video games in Veracruz, Mexico.
