Frank Chambers

Personal life and family

Wedded with four children, Chambers can be an auctioneer and farmer. His little girl Lisa was involved with building Renua Ireland in 2015; she actually is not to end up being baffled with Fianna Fáil TD Lisa Chambers, who's not linked to them.

Political career

Chambers was an associate of Mayo State Council from 1976. He was initially elected in 1979 and stood down at this year's 2009 election.On the 1997 election to Seanad Éireann he stood for election with the Cultural and Educational Panel, but was unsuccessful. After his beat he was nominated with the Taoiseach, Bertie Ahern, towards the 21st Seanad, but had not been re-appointed in 2002. He stood in the Mayo constituency on the 2002 and 2007 general elections, but didn't earn a seat.Chambers and fellow FF councillor Tim Quinn from Belmullet will be the only Fianna Fáil politicians to back again the Shell to Ocean campaign.
