Fernando Baeza Meléndez (given birth to January 21, 1942 Delicias, Chihuahua) is a Mexican politician and an associate from the Institutional Groundbreaking Party (PRI). Baeza offered as the Governor of Chihuahua from 1986 to 1992. In 1986, was elected Governor of Chihuahua defeating Francisco Barrio Country wide Actions Party (Skillet) within a questionable gubernatorial election allegedly marred by voting irregularities. (Barrio would afterwards be successful Baeza as Governor in 1992). Governor Baeza signed different bilateral treaties with Tx Governor Anne Richards and New Mexico Governor Bruce Ruler in June 1991. Beneath the treaties, Chihuahua decided to improve free of charge trade, travel and leisure, and financial links between your border states.
