Ekaterina Atalik (née Polovnikova; delivered 14 November 1982 in Kirov) is certainly a Russian-Turkish chess participant, who retains the game titles of International Get good at (IM) and Girl Grandmaster (WGM). She won the Western european Youth Chess Tournament in the under-16 women’ section in 1997. In 2005, she wedded Grandmaster Suat Atalık from Turkey, and obtained Turkish citizenship. She required obvious second place, behind her spouse, at another Mediterranean Chess Tournament, kept from 31 January to 8 Feb 2006 in Antalya, and was announced Mediterranean women’s champ. In Apr 2006 she received the 7th Western Women’s Chess Tournament in Kuşadası, Turkey. Atalik also received the Turkish women’s tournament in 2008 and 2016. In January 2016, she took obvious 1st place in the 15th Prague Open up having a score of 8/9, a complete point prior to the nearest followers.
