Edward Samuel Briggs (given birth to Oct 4, 1926) is a retired vice admiral in america Navy. Briggs was created in St. Paul, Minnesota, the kid of Charles William and Lois lone (née Johnson) Briggs. He offered as Commander, Naval Surface area Pushes Atlantic and retired in 1984. He was been successful by William F. McCauley. Briggs previously offered as a Main of Personnel and plans official to Admiral Wayne L. Holloway III aboard the USS Oklahoma Town. He’s an alumnus of america Naval Academy (course of 1949). His honours are the Navy Distinguished Services Medal and Legion of Merit. After his retirement he involved himself with local school districts of his residence in southern California. He resides there along with his wife, Nanette Parks, whom he wedded on June 7, 1949. He includes a son, Jeffrey.
