Biography

Edward “Ed” Baines can be an British chef most widely known to be a judge about Britain’s Ideal Dish and to be another chef on Weekend Feast with Paul Merrett. He been trained in The River Café in London and his flagship cafe is usually Randall & Aubin.

Television

Baines' previous displays possess included his initial TV series Lunch time with Ed Baines, which aired on Carlton Meals Network and had him cooking food for and lunching along with his famous friends in Randall & Aubin.In 1999, he presented a six-part tv series in ITV called Ed Baines Entertains, filmed at Randall & Aubin. He documented two additional series, that have been broadcast during 2000 and 2001. He in addition has appeared among the chefs for the BBC daytime way of living show Housecall.Baines filmed Cupid's Meals for broadcast on UKTV Meals and was among the citizen chefs on Great Meals Live. He provides regularly made an appearance on programs for Granada Livetime, Central Tv and Carlton Meals Network and provides highlighted on Superchefs. In Dec 2002 he was noticed every weekday on Route 5 from 2-20 Dec delivering Countdown to Xmas. He previously his very own series, Chefs at Ocean for UKTV Meals and appeared in the Terry & Gaby. Restaurants

After a two-year apprenticeship with Anton Mosimann on the Dorchester, Baines came back real estate to cook at Bibendum as well as the River Café. At 25 years, Baines was contracted by Mogens Tholstrup to open up Daphne's in South Kensington, where he continued to be as Mind Chef for 3 years. He is the co-owner from the growing Soho cafe Randall & Aubin.
