Career
Anderson attended Galena SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL in Reno, Nevada and was drafted with the Philadelphia Phillies in the 21st circular from the 2012 Main League Football Draft. He skipped the 2015 period dealing with Tommy John Medical procedures. The Phillies added him with their 40-guy roster following the 2016 season.Anderson received his MLB call-up on August 1, 2017, to fill up the open up roster spot following the Phillies traded away Joaquín Benoit. After producing his debut on August 1, he was optioned back again to the AA Reading Fightin Phils the very next day.
