Biography

Don Juan Carey III (given birth to Feb 14, 1987) can be an American soccer basic safety for the Detroit Lions from the Country wide Football Group. He was drafted with the Cleveland Browns in the 6th round of this year’s 2009 NFL Draft. He performed college soccer at Norfolk Condition. He in addition has been an associate from the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Early years

Ahead of attending Norfolk Condition, Carey visited Booker T. Washington SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL in Norfolk, Virginia.Don's younger sibling Donte has defensive back again for Grand Valley Condition, a Department II college in Allendale, MI

Professional career

After beginning for four seasons at Norfolk Condition, Carey was considered a "draftable" cornerback prospect before the 2009 NFL Draft.

Cleveland Browns

Carey was drafted from the Cleveland Browns in the sixth circular, 177th general, in this year's 2009 NFL Draft. He was waived/hurt from the Browns on August 6, 2009 because of a make injury.

Jacksonville Jaguars

Carey was claimed off waivers with the Jacksonville Jaguars on August 7, 2009. He was positioned on harmed reserve on Sept 1.Carey was waived with the Jaguars before the start of 2011 season.

Detroit Lions

The Detroit Lions signed Carey on Oct 25, 2011. He premiered on August 20, 2012, and was re-signed on November 1, 2012 after CB Expenses Bentley was positioned on IR. He documented a special groups deal with in 11 from the 16 video games during the period.Carey signed a one-year agreement extension using the Lions through 2017 on November 16, 2016.
