Biography

Dimitra Asilian (given birth to July 10, 1972 in Piraeus) is a retired feminine Greek drinking water polo participant and Olympic metallic medalist using the Greek national group. She received a metallic medal in the 2004 Summer season Olympics in Athens. She scored 8 goals in the 1999 Women’s European Water Polo Championship in Prato, where Greece finished 5th. At golf club level, Asilian started going swimming at Greek powerhouse Olympiacos youngsters Academy at age 6. Olympiacos women’s drinking water polo division was founded in 1988 and Asilian continued to try out for Olympiacos for a complete of 29 years (including her youngsters profession) before her pension by the end of 2006–2007 time of year at age group 35. Asilian may be the record goalscorer in the annals from the Greek Women’s Drinking water Polo Little league with 703 goals, an archive she achieved inside a 15-yr period (1992–2007). She earned 2 Greek Championships (1994–95, 1997–98) as well as the fourth put in place the 1995–96 LEN Western Glass with Olympiacos.
