Dexter Allen (given birth to July 10, 1970) can be an American blues musician, vocalist, songwriter and guitarist. Previously the lead guitarist for the Airtight Music group and blues legend Bobby Rush, he received a Jackson Music Award in 2008 for Male Vocalist of the entire year. That same season, he debuted his first record entitled Bluezin My Method. His focus on the record led to another Jackson Music Prize in ’09 2009 for Entertainer of the entire year. Allen after that released a Xmas CD in Dec 2009 known as Hello Ms. Santa Claus. In 2011, he released his second record, Bluezin forever. In 2014, he released an record entitled Bluez of My Spirit. Early life
Allen was created in Crystal Springs, Mississippi, to Willie Lee Allen (dad) and Ruthie Mae Allen (mom) on July 10, 1970. Allen provides three sisters, Olivia Ann Allen, Phalethia Lundy and Sara Allen, and one sibling, Corey Allen. He was raised on a plantation, where he helped increase vegetation and livestock to market. His dad was the pastor of Christian Open up Door Cathedral, a nondenominational set up, where his grandfather, Calvin Dixon, was also a deacon. Career
1995–2008
