He was chosen in the Greece under-19s squad for the 2011 UEFA Western Under-19 Football Tournament along with Asteras Tripoli teammate Nikolaos Skondras. He made his under-19 debut in another of the two starting games from the tournament, like a 55th-minute alternative inside a 2–1 beat against the Republic of Ireland under-19s on 20 July 2011.
