Chung Won-shik (given birth to 5 August 1928) is a South Korean politician, educator, soldier, and writer. He was the 23rd Primary Minister of South Korea.


From 1951 to 1955, he served as an officer in the South Korean Military. Pursuing that, he proved helpful as a teacher of Seoul Country wide University.During his tenure as education minister, he set up a reputation for toughness.Leader Roh Tae-woo named him Performing Prime Minister in 24 Might 1991. On 8 July 1991, he was appointed Perfect Minister of South Korea.He was among three applicants for the mayor of Seoul in 1995.
