Chung King-fai, SBS, is a Hong Kong acting professional and pioneer of modern performing art. He’s also a movie director, TV producer, program host and carrying out arts educator. He’s the creator and president from the Hong Kong Federation of Episode Societies, TALENT Panels from the Hong Kong Amusement and Cultural Solutions Division, Chairman of Exploration Theater, and Art Movie director of Hong Kong Arts Advancement Council.

Education and career

Chung finished his extra education in Pui Ching Middle College before their studies at Chung Chi University, at the Chinese language School of Hong Kong, majoring in British. He received a BA level in Talk and Dilemma from Oklahoma Baptist School and his master's level in Great Arts from Yale College of Drama. Back Hong Kong, he was an professional and executive manufacturer with both major tv broadcasters, and lecturer at Hong Kong Baptist School. He in addition has been an consultant to Hong Kong Repertory Theater. In 1983, Chung was appointed the founding Dean of the institution of Drama on the Hong Kong Academy for the Performing Arts.Chung introduced Theater from the Absurd and Broadway musicals to Hong Kong viewers in Cantonese (mom tongue from the major people), with many stage shows. He has aimed over 80 productions, including Equus, Western world Side Tale, Rashomon, Teahouse, Xiaojing Hutong, Grease, M Butterfly, A Sentimental Trip and Sounds off.Chung also retains an honorary fellowship on the Hong Kong Academy for Executing Arts and an honorary doctorate from Armstrong School of California.
