Biography

Michael George “Chick” Churchill (given birth to 2 January 1946) can be an British keyboard player from the past due 1960s to 1970s blues rock-band A DECADE After.

Career

Churchill began performing the piano in age 6 and studied classical music until he was fifteen. He became thinking about blues and rock and roll music, and became a member of his first music group Sons of Adam in Nottingham. Churchill after that fulfilled Alvin Lee from the Jaybirds. Initially, Churchill became a member of the music group as its street supervisor, but he quickly became the key pad participant. In November 1966 there is a name modification to A DECADE After. With this group, Churchill performed at major rock and roll celebrations including Woodstock in 1969, as well as the Isle of Wight Event on 29 August 1970.In 1974 he documented a solo album Me and you accompanied by featuring Rick Davies and Roger Hodgson of Supertramp and Martin Barre of Jethro Tull.(Chrysalis 1051) Vinyl fabric, 7", 45 RPM, PromoA DECADE After split up in 1976 and Churchill became Professional Supervisor at Chrysalis Music; the business was then possessed by his supervisor, Chris Wright. In 1977, he remaining to discovered Whitsett Churchill Music Posting with Tim Whitsett, posting and advertising American artists, specifically through the south.
