Charles Berling (given birth to 30 Apr 1958) is a France actor, movie director and screenwriter.

Life and career

Son of the navy doctor, he's also the nephew from the literary critic Raymond Picard. His mom, Nadia, "just child of (French) settlers in Morocco" was created in Meknes (Morocco); she passed away in 2004.When he was 2 yrs old he left Paris for Brest, then Toulon, then, at seven, Tahiti.He studied acting in the Belgian university or college INSAS, in Brussels. He's the father from the professional Émile Berling.
