Bülent Akıncı (given birth to 10 March 1967) is certainly a Turkish–German director and script article writer. Since 1970 he lives in Berlin. In his youth he earned his money as musician, security guard and by offering insurances while he was completing his graduation certificate from high-school. After high-school he signed up to study idea, art history, theater sciences at Free of charge School of Berlin. After that he was taken up to research directing at Kaskeline Film School, that was founded 1926 in Berlin simply by German filmmaker Wolfgang Kaskeline. In 1996 Akıncı transformed to DFFB Deutsche Film- und Fernsehakademie Berlin to complete his studies. After shooting some short films, he finally gained the F. W. Murnau award in 2002 for his brief film A brief tale (2001), starring celebrity Gudrun Landgrebe. His first feature named Der Lebensversicherer was stated in 2006 and shown on the 56th Berlin International Film Celebration. It later gained a prize on the 28th Moscow International Film Celebration.
