Biography

Billy Ray Dark brown (born Apr 5, 1963) is a former American professional golfer who played over the PGA Tour in the 1980s and 1990s, and a present-day on course of action reporter for Golfing Route and commentator for CBS Sports activities. Brown was created, raised, and makes his house in Missouri Town, Texas. He went to the School of Houston, and was an associate from the Cougar golfing team. He gained the 1982 NCAA Department I Championship being a freshman. He was also an associate from the 1984 and 1985 nationwide championship groups, and was an All-American all years. Brown won 3 PGA Tour events within a profession cut brief by a personal injury and following surgeries to his wrist. His greatest finish in a significant tournament was T-3 on the 1990 U.S. Open up, one stroke from the playoff. He previously 17 best-10 surface finishes in 315 PGA Tour occasions. After his playing days finished, Brown moved in to the media to serve as an on-course reporter for ABC Sports activities from 1999 until 2006. In 2007, Dark brown joined the Golfing Route as an on-course reporter because of their PGA Tour and Champions Tour insurance.
