Early life

Alison Jane Hopkins was created in Feb 1965. She was raised in Derbyshire, and was informed at the School of Stirling, where she received a qualification in business research, accompanied by an MBA in the Cambridge Judge Business College.


Brittain joined Barclays being a graduate trainee, and worked now there for 19 years. She became a member of Santander UK in 2007, after that Lloyds Bank Group in 2011.IN-MAY 2015, it had been announced that from January 2016, Brittain would dominate from Andy Harrison, who be retiring, as CEO of Whitbread, the parent company of Top Inn and Costa Espresso. Brittain have been regarded as a most liked to succeed the existing CEO, António Horta-Osório.

Alison Hopkins married Kevin Brittain; the few have two kids known as Matthew and Carys Brittain.
