Biography

Teacher Agnes Binagwaho, MD, M(Ped), PhD is a Rwandan pediatrician. She came back to Rwanda in July 1996, 2 yrs following the 1994 Genocide Against the Tutsi. Early life and education

Professor Binagwaho was created in Nyamagabe, Southern Province, Rwanda. When she was 3 years aged, she and her family members relocated to Belgium where her dad was completing his medical level.She completed her medical level (MD) generally Medicine in the Université libre de Bruxelles from 1976-1984 and her master's level in Pediatrics (MA) in the Universite de Bretagne Occidentale from 1989-1993. This year 2010, she was awarded an honorary Doctor of Technology (Hon. D.Sc.) from Dartmouth University in america. In 2014, she became the 1st person to become granted a Doctorate of Viewpoint (PhD) from the faculty of Business and Economics in the University or college of Rwanda. Her PhD dissertation was entitled, "Children's To Wellness in the Framework from the HIV Epidemic: THE SITUATION of Rwanda."To improve her abilities in health support delivery, study, and program administration, she completed several academics certificates.
